An extraction method offering a unique fragrance
The ylang ylang flower produces a rare essence obtained using an innovative method of extraction. The fractioned distillation of mature flowers picked early in the morning allows a selection of the first fractions, achieving a certified Organic quality. The yield is indeed low, but the essence obtained is of exceptional quality.
The flowers are all hand-picked and immediately transported to the distillery for treatment. When they mature, the petals begin to turn yellow and the base of each flower then turns red, so the plantations of ylang ylang acquire gold and saffron reflections.

Ylang ylang essence is recognized as an Organic product by the Ecocert label.
This certification guarantees that a product comes from plantations that follow the principles of sustainable farming:
- Without pesticides,
- Without chemical products to stimulate growth or maintain plantations.

Stories Myths Legends
The Dayaks of Borneo called this flower ‘Kananga’, flower of flowers. The essential oil of ylang-ylang helps to regulate the cardiac system, so it reduces hypertension and possesses relaxing and antidepressant properties. It is also reputed to have aphrodisiac and euphoriant qualities and to help fight against insomnia.
