This 20-year-old American created a surprise by becoming the first ASP World Longboard Champion in 2006 at the Roxy Jam. The stunning Californian had a succession of perfect rounds and beat each of the favorites for the title: Kassia Meador, Claire Karabatsos and then her fellow-American Jennifer Smith in the final. Schuyler produced truly exceptional nose rides, especially in the final of the Roxy Jam, proving that she is an all-round surfer with fascinating charm and determination.
