Nickname: When I was 15 a friend started to call me VK (my initials) and now everybody does.

Favourite food: Italian, mangoes, crabs, Key lime tart and coffee ice cream.
Favourite surfing place: any place where my friends are.
Favourite colour: green.
Favourite perfume: Roxy, of course! Also Salvatore Ferragamo and Bond No.9 Nuits de Noho.
Favourite surf trip: That is really difficult to tell. All surf trips are great. Even places like Cabo Verde, where it was windy and there were no waves at all… I have the coolest memories of that day. We did such stupid stuff to enjoy ourselves anyway!
Your first kiss: I was 13, it happened at Bishops School, under the stairs of the English department.
Your best friends: Scott, my family, Jillian and the girls from the Roxy team.
Favourite clothes: my Roxy jeans and a white t-shirt.
What to you do when you want to give yourself a treat? I eat chocolate, I do Pilates and indoor cycling, and I have a facial or a manicure once a month.
Hobbies: surfing and snowboard of course! Ski, tennis, golf and gardening.
Wounds obtained when surfing? 20 stitches on the back of my leg, when my surfboard broke.
The most important lesson you have learned: Always say thank you. You can only be sure of one thing – that everything keeps changing. But there is always a reason to smile!
